• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 cup diced onion
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 8 large lettuce leaves (like romaine or butter lettuce)
• Sliced tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mustard (optional toppings)
Instructions:

• In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and diced onions. Cook until softened.
• Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

• Reduce heat and sprinkle cheese over the beef. Stir until melted and fully combined.

• Lay out the lettuce leaves. Spoon cheesy beef mixture into each leaf.
• Top with tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, or mustard if desired.

• Fold lettuce around the filling like a taco and serve immediately.
