Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta with Broccoli

This mouthwatering dish combines tender, succulent shrimp and perfectly cooked broccoli tossed in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce over al dente pasta. Pure comfort food at its finest! 🌟✨

For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta & Shrimp:
12 oz penne pasta (or your choice of pasta)
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
πŸ”₯ Instructions:
Cook the Pasta & Broccoli:
Cook pasta according to package instructions.
In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add broccoli to the pot.
Drain and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp:
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine & Serve:
Add cooked pasta, broccoli, and shrimp to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce.
Toss until everything is well coated.
Garnish with fresh parsley and more Parmesan if desired.
Serve hot and enjoy!
