Surf & Turf Noodle Bowl with Garlic Butter Shrimp, Grilled Steak & Soy-Garlic Noodles

Ingredients:
For the Steak:
1 ribeye or sirloin steak
Salt & black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
For the Shrimp:
10–12 large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili flakes or chili powder (optional for heat)
Salt to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
For the Noodles:
200g rice noodles or lo mein noodles
1 tbsp sesame oil or vegetable oil
1/2 cup diced onions
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce (optional)
1 tsp garlic, minced
Chopped green onions for garnish
For the Egg (Optional):
1 soft-boiled or jammy egg
Sprinkle of chili oil or seasoning on top
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Steak:
Rub steak with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for about 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), depending on thickness.
Let rest 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
2. Cook the Shrimp:
In a pan, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add shrimp, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and lemon juice.
Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and slightly crisp.
3. Make the Noodles:
Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a wok or skillet, heat oil, sauté garlic, onions, and red bell pepper until lightly caramelized.
Add noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and toss well to coat. Stir-fry 2–3 minutes.
4. Assemble the Bowl:
Place noodles on a plate.
Top with grilled steak slices, garlic butter shrimp, and a soft-boiled egg.
Garnish with green onions and optional chili oil.
