2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
Salt & pepper, to taste
🍤 For the Shrimp:
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp olive oil
Squeeze of lemon juice (optional)
🥣 For the Cajun Cream Sauce:
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1–2 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes or paprika for color/heat
🔪 Instructions
1. Prep & Sear the Steak
Pat steaks dry and rub with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking hot.
Sear steaks for about 3–4 minutes per side (or to your preferred doneness).
Let rest while you cook the shrimp.
2. Cook the Shrimp
Toss shrimp with olive oil and Cajun seasoning.
In the same skillet (or a clean one), cook shrimp over medium-high heat for 1–2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Add a quick squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
3. Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Parmesan and Cajun seasoning, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Simmer for a few more minutes until slightly thickened. Season to taste.
4. Bring it all together
Plate the steak, top with shrimp, and drizzle generously with the Cajun cream sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions for a fresh pop.
